Request deletion of your data.

Use this process for personal data handled by TwinScroll, including data associated with connected WhatsApp Business services.

Who can make a request

You can request deletion if TwinScroll holds personal data about you through twinscroll.co, TwinScroll Hub, a TwinScroll-managed enquiry flow, or a WhatsApp Business account connected to TwinScroll services. A client whose connected service collected the data may be the controller; in that case TwinScroll will coordinate the request with that client.

How to submit your request

Email [email protected] with the subject Data deletion request. Include your name, the email address or phone number associated with the data, the business or TwinScroll client you communicated with, the approximate dates involved, and a short description of what you want deleted. Use international format for a WhatsApp number. You do not need to send message content, passwords, verification codes or sensitive documents in the first email.

Identity and authority checks

We may ask for reasonable information to confirm identity, locate the relevant records and prevent unauthorised deletion. If you act for another person or business, we may ask for evidence of authority. We will request only what is proportionate and will not ask for account passwords or one-time security codes.

What the request can cover

  • contact and profile identifiers held in TwinScroll systems;
  • messages, media and conversation records processed through a connected WhatsApp Business service where deletion is legally and operationally available;
  • form submissions, enquiries, support records and related CRM records;
  • webhook, delivery, connection and platform-event data attributable to the requester; and
  • other personal data identified during the verified search.

Disconnecting TwinScroll from Meta or WhatsApp, revoking platform permissions, deleting a Facebook account, or deleting a WhatsApp account does not by itself delete data already lawfully stored by TwinScroll or a client. This request process covers that stored data.

Timing and completion

We aim to acknowledge a request within five working days. We will respond without undue delay and normally within one calendar month after receiving a valid request and any information reasonably needed to verify it. If a lawful extension is required because a request is complex or numerous, we will explain the reason and the extended timetable.

When the request is complete, we will confirm the action taken or explain any lawful reason why some data cannot be deleted. If a TwinScroll client is controller, the final response may come from that client or be coordinated with it.

Limits, backups and contact

Deletion rights are subject to legal conditions and exemptions. We may retain limited records where required for legal obligations, fraud and security prevention, dispute handling, accounting, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Data already contained in protected backups may remain until the normal backup cycle expires, with access restricted and no routine further use.
